Home moderately damaged in fire

FORT WAYNE – A house on the city’s southeast side sustained moderate damage in a fire this morning, according to a statement issued by the Fort Wayne Fire Department.

It said firefighters went to 1016 E. Sherwood Terrace about 9:15 a.m.

No one was at home at the time of the fire and the cause remains under investigation, the department said.
