The North Side and Bishop Luers boys basketball teams both picked up wins at the 2013 IPSAC Showcase at Indianapolis Marshall on Monday.
The Redskins beat Horizon Christian 73-56, and the Knights took care of Indianapolis Attucks 80-77.
Jeremy Jones led North Side (5-0) with 15 points and four rebounds, while Oosha Mitchell had 14 points and Mike Davis 12 points and six rebounds.
The Redskins made 21 of 38 (55 percent) from the field, while holding Horizon Christian (9-3) to 13 of 32 (41 percent) shooting.
Luers (3-1) was outscored by Attucks (4-3) 25-16 in the first quarter before winning the final three quarters, 21-16, 22-20 and 21-16.
HOMESTEAD 87, LEO 60: The Spartans outscored the visiting Lions 49-34 in the first half in the big win.
Caleb Swanigan had 25 points, Lucas Tapp 11 and Dana Batt and Tahj Curry each added 10 for Homestead (5-1).
Leo (3-3) got 27 points from Adam Davison.
GARRETT 44, ANGOLA 38: Justin McCoy had 20 points and nine rebounds in the Railroaders home win.
Kordell Kessler added nine points for Garrett (6-1). Angola (3-3) got 15 points from Aaron Lloyd and 12 from Craig Nofziger.
EASTSIDE 57, LAKELAND 44: The host Blazers outscored the Lakers 23-9 in the fourth quarter to pull away.
SOUTHERN WELLS 39, FRANKTON 37: Lela Knowles had 10 points and Hilary Paxson added 13 rebounds as the Raiders won at home.
Also for Southern Wells (5-5), Chloe Elam had nine points.
HOMESTEAD 133, DEKALB 49: Logan Pollander won three events to lead the host Spartans.
Pollander came in first in the 100 butterfly, the 100 backstroke and the 400 freestyle relay.
