Death of 1-year-old remains under investigation

FORT WAYNE – An autopsy was completed Monday on a 1-year-old Fort Wayne boy transported from a house in the 1000 block of West Creighton Avenue on Sunday morning.

The identity of Carson Walda was released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

It said the cause and manner of his death are pending until further testing can be completed, and that the death remains under investigation.

Fort Wayne police officers and emergency crews responded to the call about 10:25 a.m. Sunday morning.
