Charges filed in crack cocaine bust


FORT WAYNE – The Indianapolis Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced Monday that Deantre L. Rogers, 35, was arrested Friday on cocaine-related charges.

The Fort Wayne man was arrested about 9:15 a.m. in the 5000 block of Vermont Lane in on a charge of distributing "28 grams or more of cocaine base ("crack") and possessing with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine," the FBI announcement said.

It said the investigation is being conducted by the Fort Wayne Police Department Vice & Narcotics Division and the FBI Fort Wayne Safe Streets Task Force.
