Snider dominates SAC foes

Panthers go undefeated to win dual meet at Dwenger

Snider emerged undefeated at the SAC Duals at Bishop Dwenger on Saturday.

The Panthers went 4-0 in the tournament to take the top spot.

Bishop Dwenger, Wayne, and Concordia finished 2-2 to tie for second place.

Girls basketball

CANTERBURY 80, GARY WEST 69: At Canterbury, Kindell Fincher scored 26 points and had 11 rebounds, and Katherine Smith added 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Cavaliers (8-1).

BLUFFTON 38, ADAMS CENTRAL 26: At Bluffton, Erin McKinley scored 15 points and Sierra Steffen had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Tigers (3-8).

The Jets (1-8) were led by Briona Case with nine points.

FAIRFIELD 78, HAMILTON 23: At Fairfield, Jenna Kieper scored 26 points and had six rebounds to lead the Falcons (7-1).

Lindsay Upp led the Marines (2-5) with seven points.

LEO 43, SOUTHERN WELLS 42, OT: At Leo, Toby Carman had 11 points and six rebounds, and Abbie Heischman and Jenna Beer scored 10 points each to lead the Lions (9-1).

Carissa Carter scored 13 points to lead the Raiders (4-5).

SOUTH SIDE 70, MISHAWAKA 57: At Mishawaka, Brittni Clopton scored 22 points and had eight rebounds and Chelsea Rogers scored 12 points to lead the Archers (5-4) over Mishawaka (9-2).

Boys basketball

WOODLAN 68, BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 60: At Woodlan, Kadin Gerig scored 22 points and Jaylin Bennett had 13 assists to lead the Warriors (3-3).

The Braves (3-3) were led by Riley Reimschisel who scored 21 points and had nine rebounds.

NORTHROP 80, CANTERBURY 50: At Canterbury, Anton Berry and Jajuan Starks led the Bruins (4-4) with 17 points each. Aaron Thomas added 10 points, and had 10 rebounds.

Canterbury (2-3) was led by Jalen Paul who scored 12 points.

SOUTH SIDE 93, INDIANAPOLIS NORTHWEST 54: At South Side, Nate Thomas led the Archers (1-4) with 21 points.

Donyea Lipsey had 16 points, and Trea Masten added 12.
