Expanding company projects 99 new jobs

A local employer undergoing expansion is projecting the creation of up to 99 new jobs by 2017.

Group Delphi, which is investing up to $11.8 million to build and equip a Midwest division headquarters southwest of Fort Wayne, made the announcement Thursday.

Earlier this month, the designer and builder of exhibits for trade shows and museums told The Journal Gazette the projected number of jobs created by 2017 would be 68.

The company currently employs more than 30 full-time workers and plans to begin hiring for production and warehousing positions next November, according to a media release.
