The Salvation Army has seven days to reach a goal of $265,000 in its Red Kettle Campaign. The group reported collecting $135,490 as of Tuesday.
“We are at the point that we know it will take a miracle to raise $130,000 in only seven days,” Salvation Army Major Harold Poff said in a written statement. “We really need the community’s help in any way possible to help us reach this goal.”
The red kettles will be out until 5 p.m. Christmas Eve. Donations may also be mailed or made online at www.safortwayne.org.
