Police conduct interview with 1 after stabbing

Fort Wayne police said Monday they have identified and interviewed a person of interest in the Blue Bird Court stabbing.

Early Sunday morning, police found a man suffering from an apparent stabbing when they were called to the 5700 block of Bluebird Court near St. Joe and St. Joe Center roads.

The victim, who was conscious, was taken to a hospital, where a physician declared his condition critical. The name of the victim was not released.

On Monday, police said they had identified and interviewed a person of interest and had turned the case over to the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.

The name of the person of interest was not released.
