Mad Ants cough up lead, lose

The Mad Ants opened the game in strong fashion, but coughed up a 16-point lead in a 114-110 overtime loss at Sioux Falls, S.D., on Saturday night.

Poor free-throw shooting contributed to the Mad Ants' demise.

Fort Wayne was down 112-110 with 3.9 seconds remaining in overtime, but Olek Czyz missed both free throws, cementing the game.

Fort Wayne finished 71.4 percent (30 of 42) from the free-throw line, down from 91.7 percent (22 of 24) in the third quarter.

Six of the Skyforce's nine points in overtime came at the free-throw line.

Trey McKinney-Jones scored 30 to lead the Mad Ants (1-3). Sadiel Rojas had 12 points and a team-best 12 rebounds.

Justin Hamilton had 31 points and 13 rebounds for Sioux Falls (4-2).
