Statement as distributed Friday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Fort Wayne:
Robert A. Jones, Special Agent in Charge of the Indianapolis Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced today the charging via federal criminal complaint of CHARLES R. SEALS, age 23, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; BRANDON D. SIZEMORE, age 24, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and CALVIN L. MILLER, age 22, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. These individuals were charged with robbing a bank, and in doing so, assaulting and putting in jeopardy the life of another person by the use of a dangerous weapon. The individuals were also charged with a separate count of use of a firearm during a crime of violence. These charges stem from their alleged involvement during a bank robbery that occurred on December 5, 2013 at the Wells Fargo Bank in Hoagland, Indiana.
The investigation of this bank robbery is being conducted by the FBI Northeast Indiana Federal Bank Robbery Task Force (NEIFBRTF) and the United States Postal Inspection Service. The NEIFBRTF is comprised of FBI agents and officers from the Indiana State Police, Allen County Police Department, Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
