Winter storm heads this way

FORT WAYNE – The worst of the winter storm threatening Indiana is expected to hit south of Fort Wayne, but Bluffton and Decatur, Ind., and Van Wert, Ohio, are likely to be in its path.

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana said that most of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio are likely to get snow and some sleet tonight, but the worst of the storm is expected be along and south of a line from Marion, Ind., to Ottawa, Ohio. One to 3 inches of snow is possible there.

The weather service said only light accumulations of snow are expected north of that line.

Fort Wayne’s snow is expected to come between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m.
