2013 homicides tie record; victim is ID'd

A 34-year-old Fort Wayne man has been identified as the man who was gunned down Tuesday afternoon on Oliver Street.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office ruled that the death of Daniel William Arnett was a homicide, the county’s 44th of 2013. All but two of the killings happened in Fort Wayne.

The number of homicides ties the record set in 1997.
