BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University police say students are no longer at risk after urging them earlier Sunday to seek shelter, but that no suspect has been found.
Police said earlier Sunday that a person was at large after a man was found stabbed at an on-campus apartment complex at about 3:30 a.m.
IU-Bloomington Police Lt. Craig Munroe told the Indianapolis Star (http://indy.st/1ckrtoX) that the victim is an IU student and was stabbed in the back after a fight. Capt. Laury Flint told The Associated Press that the man was taken to IU Hospital in Bloomington, but did not identify him further.
The school tweeted just before 7 a.m. CDT that police determined there is no danger to those on campus.
Munroe told the Star that the victim was likely "targeted."
