Fort Wayne – AUDITIONS: IPFW theater department will have auditions Saturday at Williams Theatre, 2101 Coliseum Blvd. E., for its upcoming production of Our Town.
The cast will include about 30 men and women of various ages.
Auditions for ages 25 and younger will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and auditions for ages 26 and older will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Those auditioning should prepare and bring in one verse of a hymn of their choice and a one-minute monologue.
Performance dates are from Dec. 6 to 15. Rehearsals begin Tuesday. For information, call 481-6551.

Professional photographer Robert Borel of Fort Wayne was recently presented with the eighth annual Black and White Spider Awards nominee in the category of Fine Art in London.
The Decatur Sculpture Tour Committee recognized the following artists with five awards: Gary Hovey, Peoples Choice Award and Decatur Sculpture Tour Committees Award; Greg Mendez, Decatur Mayors Award; Tiffany Vassil and Greg Mendez, Platinum Award; and Craig Snyder, Inspiration Award.
The Roanoke Arts Council announced the following winners from this years A Renaissance in Roanoke. Winners of the college exhibit are Emily Thornburg, first place; Abigail Lynn, second place; Hollis Jantz, third place; and Paige Huff, Peoples Choice Award. Best-in-class ribbons went to Joseph Pelka, Susan Stewart, Carol Blumenberg, Tammy Jo Hyndman, Bonnie Manning, Larry Wiedman, Michael Hapner, Donna Waters and Amber Walker. The Plein Aire paint-out winners were Terry Pulley, first place; Marianne Von Rohr, second place; Heather Houser, third place; and Diana Fair, Fort Wayne Museum of Art Purchase Award.

STUDIO FEATURED: Visitors to the You Are There 1904: Picture This display at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St., Indianapolis, will be presented the inside of the Fort Wayne studio of Charles Miner. The display, open from Tuesday through Feb. 2, 2015, will have historic photographs re-created in 3-D and trained costumed actors who interact with visitors.
