FORT WAYNE – Canterbury and DeKalb will face off at 7 p.m. Saturday at Carroll for the boys soccer regional championship.
Both teams won semifinal matches Thursday, with the Cavaliers taking down Bellmont 3-0 and the Barons posting a 5-0 decision over North Side.
Brennan Cochran scored two goals for DeKalb, while Landon Cochran chipped in a goal and an assist in the win.
Bellmont goalkeeper Caleb Schell had 12 saves, but his offense had just one shot on goal to Canterburys 15. Jamison Kline scored in the opening minute and added an assist for the Cavaliers.
WOODLAN 3, NORTHROP 0: Setter Brooke Gerbers had 37 assists, Tori Bontrager had 19 kills and the Warriors rolled past the Bruins 25-16, 25-14, 25-16. Burgundy Price added four aces and 11 digs for Woodlan.
CONCORDIA 3, CARROLL 0: Junior middle blocker Tionna Williams had 13 kills, six digs and five solo blocks as her Cadets edged the Chargers 25-17, 28-26, 25-22.
BELLMONT 3, JAY COUNTY 0: Senior setter Bailee Hankenson six blocks and 23 assists for the Braves as they routed Jay County 25-10, 25-16, 25-10.
HOMESTEAD 3, LEO 1: Senior setter Katie Miller had 28 assists, 20 digs and four aces, and junior middle blocker Cassidy Geller chipped in 17 kills for the Spartans in a 25-19, 30-32, 25-22, 25-17 marathon. Leo junior Emily Wenglikowski had 20 kills for the Lions.
NORWELL 3, BLUFFTON 1: Junior Halie McMillan had 20 kills and four blocks as the Knights shook off a first-set loss and beat the Tigers 25-21, 25-11, 25-16, 25-18.
