A liquor store theft case had grown cold until police decided to release a photo to the public. Within 24 hours, a suspect was in custody.
Kosciusko County sheriffs deputies arrested Nathanael Martin Tuttle, 35, of Cromwell, about noon Friday after a photo was circulated in media outlets.
The department received anonymous information that helped them find him hiding inside a RV camper near Chapman Lake, the department said. He is accused of stealing from Leesburg Liquors last month.
Officers preliminarily charged Tuttle with felony theft and possession of precursors used in making methamphetamine. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants out of Elkhart County.
Detectives said the publics many tips helped track down Tuttles identity and location.
