The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department said today it is seeking the public's help in identifying two persons of interest in an active investigation.
Photos of the two people were obtained from Leesburg Liquors, the sheriff's department said in a statement. The sheriff's department did not provide details about what it is investigating.
The statement described the first person of interest as a man wearing black pants, a "Pink Floyd/Dark Side of the Moon" black T-shirt and a black ball cap with the wording "Roadway Express" in white. He appears to be about 5-feet-6, white, with a slim build, brown hair and sideburns, the statement said.
It said the second person of interest is a woman about the same height as the man, wearing a low-cut pink shirt and with bobbed, jaw-length, blondish-brown hair. The statement said she appears to have a tattoo on her right arm between the shoulder and elbow.
The couple left the business driving a small to mid-sized black passenger car, the statement said.
The sheriff's department asked people with information about either of the individuals or the vehicle to call the sheriff's department at 574-267-5667 or the anonymous tip line at 574-372-2494.
