A woman died this afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 69 in northern Allen County, county police said today.
Witnesses told county police a gray car driven by a woman was moving erratically in the southbound lanes, police said in a statement.
The car crossed into the left lane and then veered off the west side of the highway, rolling several times before settling on its top at the bottom of a ditch at the 321.5-mile marker, near the DeKalb County border, the statement said.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene, police said. They said she was wearing her seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation by the county sheriff's department.
