With more than 10,000 participants registered, the excitement seem to warm up the chilly morning as racers lined up for the sixth annual Fort4Fitness.
The cannon shot off for the 4-mile walk/run race at 7:31 am. More than 4,000 participants signed up for the first race.
As the 4-mile top racers began to cross the finish line, more than 3,100 participants took off at 8 a.m. for the half marathon.
The first half marathoner crossed the finish line a little more than an hour into the race.
The final race of the day is the 10K race, which took off at 9 a.m.
