A construction worker suffered severe injuries Thursday morning after he was inadvertently run over by a dump truck loaded with asphalt, the Huntington Police Department said.
The E&B Paving worker was in a parking lot in the 300 block of Cherry Street about 9:07 a.m. when the accident occurred, police said.
The driver of the truck is employed with Highway Material Transportation, of Anderson, police said.
The injured man was taken to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately available. Their identities were not released.
