A construction worker had severe injuries Thursday morning after he was accidentally run over by a dump truck loaded with asphalt, the Huntington Police Department said.
The E&B Paving worker was in a parking lot in the 300 block of Cherry Street about 9:07 a.m. when it happened, police said in a statement.
The driver of the truck is employed with Highway Material Transportation, of Anderson, the statement said.
It said the injured man was transported to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
