Fort Wayne fire investigators are looking for information on who may have set a fire early Monday morning that damaged a pair of vacant houses in the 500 block of Fourth Street.
According to a news release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department, it took fire crews more than 45 minutes to get the blaze under control and required that an extra engine be dispatched to the scene.
One of the houses suffered heavy fire damage, and the fire spread to a second house, which incurred moderate damage. No occupants were found in either house, according to the release.
No injuries were reported. An investigation found the blaze was intentionally set.
