Police in Noble County used social media to help crack a case of stolen lottery tickets and nab three people suspected of breaking into a shop in Cromwell this month.
The three people are accused of burglarizing the Town and Country Mercantile on Aug. 21 and stealing lottery tickets along with cigarettes.
Later, an image of a man trying to cash some of those stolen lottery tickets was placed on the Noble County Sheriffs Departments Facebook page.
A tip concerning that mans identity and location led to the arrests of the three, identified as Christian M. McQuade, 19, of Warsaw; Justin H. Mickem, 31, of North Webster; and Kendra Ann Rodriguez, 20, of North Webster.
Each has been charged with felony counts of burglary and theft and are being held on $10,000 bail, according to the Noble County Prosecutors Office.
