The Allen County Election Board will meet Wednesday and even though it is an off year for elections, the board will discuss several matters that could have a significant effect on voters.
The board will review a couple of campaign finance issues and consider a proposal from election administrators to change the way the election board reviews campaign finance reports.
Election officials are suggesting that the board review for accuracy 19 items on all reports, including whether it is the correct type of report, the reporting period and whether expenditure dates are provided.
The board will also review recommendations for polling location reorganization.
Partisan opposition to the Affordable Care Act from many of Indianas elected officials is making it even more difficult for those most affected to find accurate information about the law.
To combat the dearth of factual information about the law, sometimes referred to as Obamacare, HealthVisions of Fort Wayne, Indiana Minority Health Coalition and Covering Kids and Families of Indiana are holding a town hall meeting on Thursday.
