Heritage Community Church, 5874 County Road 427 South, Auburn, is having “Run to the Cross,” a conversation about a person who helps feelings and experiences on the journey for faith. The event is featured in two acts at 10:15 a.m. Sunday and March 31. Before the March 31 event, there will be an Easter breakfast at 8:45 a.m. Tickets for the breakfast are $3 each with a $15 cap for a family. New Hope Wesleyan Church, 971 North 400 West, Columbia City, is having the Easter musical drama “Instruments of the Cross” at 7 p.m. Friday and March 30. Admission is free.

Grace Presbyterian Church, 1811 Fairhill Road, is having an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon March 30.

Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester, is having the Pilgrim 300 Pinewood Derby at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Participants can purchase a car at the church to run in the race for $5. If you have previously participated in the race, the entry fee is $2.

Auburn First United Methodist Church, 1203 E. Seventh St., is hosting its pastor, Ted Jansen, as part of the church’s Men’s Lenten Breakfast Series. The breakfast is at 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Special services

Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne St., is having Passion/Palm Sunday worship services at 8, 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday. “Journey to the Cross: A Hands-On Holy Week Experience” is at 10 a.m. Sunday. The church will have a Maundy Thursday service at 12:05 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday. A Good Friday service will be 12:05 p.m. Friday. A service of healing will be at 1:30 p.m. An Easter vigil worship service will be at 7 p.m. March 30.

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 7308 St. Joe Road, is having 7 p.m. Holy Week services Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by an all-night vigil. Holy Friday services are at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Friday.

Greater Mount Ararat Baptist Church, 2111 Edsall Ave., is having a community Good Friday service at noon Friday.

Forest Park United Methodist Church, 2100 Kentucky Ave., is featuring the Sanctuary Choir singing the cantata, “Forsaken – Remembering the Last Days of Christ,” at its Sunday service. A breakfast will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. A Holy Thursday service will be 7 p.m. Thursday.

Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church, 1232 Crescent Ave., will have a Good Friday service at noon Friday.
