NCAA men: Illinois 57, Colorado 49

Seventh-seeded Illinois has defeated 10th-seeded Colorado 57-49 in a second-round NCAA men's basketball East Region tournament game in Austin, Texas.

The Illini, now 23-12, advance to a third-round game Sunday against second-seeded Miami, which beat Pacific earlier today. Colorado finished 21-12.
