Fort Wayne police arrested a man and woman late Monday after finding a discarded meth lab in a north-side neighborhood.

Pursuing tips about a possible drug house, narcotics officers learned that meth was being made in a home at 1615 High St., police said.

About 11:50 p.m. Monday, officers arrested Duane Cunningham, 22, at the home and seized a handgun. Police also took Chandraa Coe, 40, into custody in the 1600 block of Kelly Drive after a meth lab was found in the trash there, according to police.

Coe was booked into the Allen County Jail on preliminary felony charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, dumping controlled substance waste, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of precursors and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held in lieu of $52,500 bail.

Cunningham was charged with carrying a handgun without a license and possessing a gun as a violent felon. He was also booked on a probation violation in a robbery case. He was held without bail at the county lockup.
