Neighbors report house on fire

FORT WAYNE – A house on the city’s southwest side was struck by fire Tuesday evening.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department said neighbors called 911 shortly after 7:15 p.m. When firefighters arrived at 450 W. Fleming Ave., they found a small fire inside the first floor.

No one was in the home at the time of the fire and damage was limited, the department said.
