FORT WAYNE – A Fort Wayne woman faces several drug charges, accused of making meth at her apartment northwest of downtown and dumping the waste in a nearby neighborhood.

The Fort Wayne Police Department Vice/Narcotics Division said Chandraa R. Coe, who is also known as Chandraa R. Wojcik, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, dumping controlled substance waste, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of two or more drug precursors and possession of drug paraphernalia.

It said an investigation of “drug house tips” indicated meth was being produced inside a residence in the 1600 block of High Street, and that Coe, 40, was arrested Monday evening after a spent meth lab was found discarded in the 1600 block of Kelly Street.

Her bond was set at $30,000, according to a fact sheet distributed by the police division.

A man inside the High Street house also was taken into custody, with help from the police department Gang and Violent Crimes Unit. The narcotics division said Duane M. Cunningham, 22, was served with a warrant on violation of probation, carrying a handgun without a license with a prior felony and being a serious violent felony in possession of a firearm.

He was being held without bond.

The FWPD Emergency Services Team and its Meth Lab Suppression Team assisted the narcotics division.
