NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Police say the bodies of a woman and two children have been recovered from a shallow creek in southern Indiana.
Maj. Keith Whitlow said the bodies were found Wednesday in New Albany. Whitlow said there are no obvious signs of foul play but that the deaths are being treated as homicides.
Police say the victims have been identified as a woman and her two children who recently relocated from Washington state.
New Albany police issued a statement Thursday identifying the victims as 35-year-old Jamie Clutter, 10-year-old Brandon Clutter and 6-month-old Katelyn Clutter.
Whitlow said the family moved to an apartment in New Albany in December.
New Albany is less than a mile north of Louisville.
