Most of Coliseum to be resurfaced

Most of Coliseum Boulevard will be a construction zone this summer as nearly the entire road will be resurfaced.

Indiana Department of Transportation officials have awarded a $4.4 million bid to Brooks Construction to resurface 7.5 miles of Coliseum between Interstate 69 on the north and west and East Washington Boulevard on the south and east. The preventative maintenance project also includes resurfacing Lima Road between Coliseum and I-69.

Officials said the resurfacing will be done at night to limit traffic disruptions.
