Notre Dame's basketball teams will play in the ACC next year, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, according to Pete Thamel of Sports Illustrated.

The report goes on to say the move doesn't come as a shock since Notre Dame's preference when the Big East basketball conference became depleted after the departure of the Catholic 7.
