Federal warrant leads to pot stash, arrest

Wittwer

A 65-year-old Spencerville man was arrested early Monday on a federal arrest warrant by members of the Indiana State Police's Anti-Crime Enforcement Team.

State troopers found more than 60 grams of marijuana inside his home, according to a statement released by the Fort Wayne post.

Troopers in the ACE Team went to the residence of Curtis D. Wittwer on DeKalb County Road 68 about midnight to serve the warrant on a charge of dealing marijuana. They report finding drug paraphernalia and smelling the odor of burnt pot.

Wittwer was taken to the Allen County Jail on the federal warrant.
