For more than 100 years, the Anna Louise Inn in downtown Cincinnati has been a safe, serene place that thousands of struggling women came to know as home.Residents of Williams County, Ohio, who need transportation can now call toll-free for The Ride, a new countywide public transportation service being offered by Quadco Rehabilitation Center.
The transportation service is available for any reason, and the wheelchair-accessible vans have lifts for those who need them.
The service is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; reservations, which are required 24 hours in advance, can be made by calling 888-982-1011 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Unless a person is covered by an agency that contracts with Quadco for the service, the fee is $2.50 if the trip is within a three-mile radius each way; outside the radius, the cost is $2.50 plus 75 cents a mile.
For trips outside the immediate four-county area, the fee is $5 plus an additional 75 cents a mile, as well as an hourly wait fee.
