Vance Avenue closure to last a month

FORT WAYNE – Vance Avenue is scheduled to close to all traffic at Kingsley Drive, which is between Coliseum Boulevard and Reed Road.

The closure will begin Monday and continue for 30 days, weather permitting, the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced Thursday.

It said the closure will allow the contractor, API Construction, to install storm sewer lines and structures at Vance and Kingsley.

The official detour will use Coliseum Boulevard, State Boulevard and Reed Road.
