Man, 63, draws 15 years for molesting 4-year-old

A 63-year-old Michigan man was sentenced this week in Allen Superior Court to 15 years in prison and five years’ probation for molesting a 4-year-old girl last fall.

In January, Ronnie Raty Crissey of Wyoming, Mich., pleaded guilty to Class B felony child molesting.

Additional charges of Class A felony child molesting and Class C felony child molesting were dismissed.

On Tuesday, Judge Fran Gull accepted the plea agreement and sentenced him to 20 years in prison but ordered five years suspended and to be served on probation.

The girl told police Crissy fondled her and had her touch him sexually. The same day, he left a phone message for the girl’s mother, apologizing for his actions, according to court documents.
