FORT WAYNE – The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a man identified as a possible suspect in fraud involving the use of a stolen credit card.A man was shot and seriously wounded Wednesday night on Fort Wayne’s south side, police said.
Police were called to the TGFMobile store at 620 E. Lewis St. shortly after 7 p.m. When officers arrived at the business, a man was found with at least one gunshot wound, according to John Chambers, a city police spokesman.
The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Chambers said initial reports show that someone entered the store, shot the customer and fled in a vehicle.
No information about the shooter or the vehicle was available Wednesday, Chambers said.
