The way I understand it.....Kennedy and players in the AHL and ECHL that started the year in a preseaon camp with the Correct Immigration paperwork are exempt...plus he is Norfolk is affiliated directly to the Komets. The thing I don't get is, why can't we sign a player from Dayton that was born in Canada? Even if the player doesn't have the correct immigration paperwork, couldnt they file it and get him here...even if they filed that paperwork a month ago?
