3 at middle school are caught with pot

Three students at Memorial Park Middle School were caught with marijuana Friday, according to a city police report.

School officials learned about the marijuana through an anonymous tipster who reported that the three boys were distributing marijuana at the school on Maumee Avenue, the report said.

One student had a bag of marijuana in his pants pocket. A second student had two plastic bags of marijuana in an Advil bottle. And a third student had a plastic bag of marijuana in his wallet, the report stated.

The three were each arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and taken to the Allen County Juvenile Center, the report said.
