Ohio student's 'NASA Johnson Style' goes viral

CINCINNATI – An Ohio college student's online parody of the Korean pop hit "Gangnam Style" has gone viral.

The parody by Brian Schwing, who grew up in Cincinnati, has more than 4.5 million views on YouTube and counting.

The 22-year-old is working as an intern at NASA in Houston and is a senior at Ohio State University.

His video, "NASA Johnson Style," shows his fellow interns at Johnson Space Center dancing like "Gangnam Style" singer PSY and singing altered lyrics.

Schwing told the Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/159g0lQ) that it took him about 200 hours to produce the video, with 15 hours of footage that had to be edited down to four minutes.

Schwing said he hopes the video gets more people interested in science and spaceflight.
