Angola home damaged by fire

A fire left heavy damage to a home Saturday night in Angola, according to Angola Fire Department.

Firefighters were called about 9:30 p.m. to a home owned by Dennis W. Ladig at 60 Lane 100B Lake Charles East, Angola.

The first units on the scene found the one-story, ranch-style house engulfed in flames. Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 30 minutes.

Firefighters have labeled the fire suspicious and are continuing their investigation.
