Can't trade Schrock. He's the meal ticket of this team. If he's gone, then the Kasuals might not come to their one/two games a season anymore!

Why Yes!!! We have to save Schrock....his value is priceless.

He was a good player the first couple of years here...he is a good kid....and has a great house and bobblehead collection.

But seriously people!!! Would anyone sign him next year as a Veteran in this league???

He is a third line agitater that only agitates about 1/20th of what he used to.....he thinks he should be a 20-25 goal scorer. He is best served to agitate, hustle, fight, hit, and muck it up. But he hasn't done that this season as much as he should.

I wouldn't trade Marino, Firman, or Dunbar. Everyone else at this point....Good Luck to ya. I like Wheeler, he plays hard and hits and has a good shot. I think Hoban gave it his all and played very well. Everybody else has been so inconsistant, some haven't given the effort, some have, but just can't compete at this level. Chaulk can play at this level, his health has hurt him obviously, he isn't going anywhere IMO.

Henley quit on this team around Thanksgiving and he and Maggio were turrible together. Maggio improved away from Henley.

Is Henley the locker-room problem? Or is it a combination of guys? Just seems like the locker-room is a mess with this bunch.

Chaulks comments from yesterday were telling IMO. He said something like stop bitching at the refs, your linemates, and play hard.

That tells me alot.

Henley whines alot at the Refs.

Well, who knows what happens.

I still want more explanation why we can't sign Non-American Players.....

Have the Komets been flagged for filling out immigration papers wrong in the past and now have lost their rights to do so? What is it?

Why the hush on this???

Who else would like to know this as well?

Ok.....Thumbs Down me you MORANS.

First there is no market for Schrock, they only deal the are going to get is to give up 2 players for 1 I can't see a 1 for 1. I would say Henley is the likely one on the block at this point because you don't play with 5 D-Men they could of easily sat Smith the last two games. Rizk is another one I would trade but at the beginning of the year Franke was quoted as saying he was on they would like to build the team around as a fan favorite. Giosa is another one I would give up and while Dunbar is a good little player, that is his biggest issue he is too small and we don't have enough size up front to protect him and open the ice for him.

So with a team that needs scoring at this point also needs blue line help because what they have back there since Maggio got called up is horrible plain and simple.

Newbie here. I moved to Indy in 93 with my fam when I was 12 and I still follow the K's faithfully. Ive been to opening night since 93 and a few games here and their and havent been back up this yr since opening night. The wife wants to come but I dont want her to see how bad their doing. from what I hear we need some major improving. I have a very opinionated mind so feel free to stop me if I get to outta whack. According to HockeyDB Keith Rodger isnt playing anywhere, find him resign him. Henley I would trade to Alaska for Kane Lafranchise or sean curry. Do some moving around. maybe have a talk with Frankie Deangelis see if we can get him to Unretire?...lol I dont here much on Kishel when I listen, how is his performance? I havent been listening much to Chase, but when I do, do we have a problem with our physical game? theirs 2 guys I can think of who are playing across seas we could use if our physical game is outta whack, Jeremy Yablonski, Jon Mirasty. I honestly dont think the problem is our coaching. Id give Sims one more yr to put things together with some fresh guys and maybe keep some of these guys and work on something. it is our first yr in a new league, maybe we just need another yr to bring things together? Like I said I havent seen a game this yr so my post might be a little off....lol

At this point in the season, I would hope some moves would have already been discussed, with Franke just waiting to bite the bullet depending on performance.

If he's waiting until now to even discuss moves, he's more out of touch than I thought.

I think it's simple. Just get them all in a room, stare at them for a minute, and then ask "who wants to go and who wants to stay?".
This has to be a locker room issue. They are not playing the way they can because of the tension.
If you don't want to play on this team, let us know now and get out of here, so we can move on with the rest of the season or get ready for next.
Got an issue with another player? Better work it out quick.

Henley would be the obvious one to trade. I do have a question does the team go back and look at the games? To see just exactly how they played? Maybe learn from the mistakes that occurred during the game??
They need to do something soon rather than later

The problem is, as I observed watching us get our butts handed to us by last place Evansville, is that we have too, too many 5-9 guys. We look like a youth team playing against full sized men, and it is like this against almost all teams. Its pretty bad when Shrock, who is what, all of maybe 5-11 and 185 pounds, has to do all the fighting against 6-4, 250 pound guys. Not sure what Henleys position is, but too many times I have seen 5-9 Brent Smith have to come in and clean up the mess when someone went after a goal scorer, while Henley stood there and just watched. We need some size badly, but not that guy. He would be the first to go. Wheeler is terrible, too little for D, and cant stick handle a lick. I heard a lot of hype about Butler, but he just stands there in front screening the goalie with the other teams guy, refusing to move them out. Kishel is too little and cant move anyone. Nycholat cant play D, he cant skate, he cant stickhandle and he cant shoot. Not sure why he is still here. Maggio, when here, should be a right wing, as he cant play defense. Enough said on that. And Hegarty is the only solid D man this team has. I feel sorry for Charlie and Kenny and Marco, as they havent a chance. And why is Boucher still hanging around behind the bench and in the hallways. If he was in net with this group of D-men, no doubt there would be 8 to 10 goals scored every game. Its time to get some size, as you cant have a team full of 5-9 little guys. Marino and Giosa are fine, and maybe Smith because he plays bigger, but the rest can go. Gotta keep Schrock, as he is the hustle of the team. He disrupts the other team with his hustle, and that is more valuable than all of Beauregards goals, who seemingly refuses to pass the puck. And it still seems Sims or the Franke's have handcuffs on them at home, as they dont hit or fight at home, and that is why they lose. No passion or hitting, and we all think they are handcuffed and being told its "a family environment". We all know something is amiss, and what with the horrendous power play which has been that way since Sims arrived, it seems to be a coaching problem also. Time to clear house, because if they bring back this team next year, or even continue with it like this all year this year, I for one, and I know many others, will not renew our season tickets. It is an inferior product on the ice, and we had to pay 50.00 more to see this. Not good at all.

I read a post above about maybe a locker room problem, referring to Henley. I thought that myself, about during games. I see him pointing at guys after a goal, when he was the one out of position. I see him quite often trying to tell Marino what to do. Really? Henley your going to tell Marino what to do? My gosh man, we need more Marino's and less complainers like you. If you would move your stinking feet, and quit taking that long stick of your and hooking and slashing guys, you wouldnt get called for constant stupid penalties that hurt the team. And they you dont step up when play is going, you always want to talk crap to guys after the whistle while your safely skating back to the bench. A guy your size should be an enforcer and put fear into guys, and yet I see the smallest guys on other teams run right at you, with no fear at all. I really think Henley would be an outstanding coach behind the bench, because guys like him that know what to do, but cant do it, usually make the best coaches. I would welcome that over the guy behind the bench now that never seems to call the ref into question when they seem to constantly stick it to us. He doesnt get fired up, and the team doesnt either. Henley sucks on the ice. Sims sucks behind the bench. Get Henley off the ice, put him on the bench, have Sims retire, and get a few guys that arent munchkins, and we might have a hockey club.

And we dont need Mirasty. The guy cant skate a lick, cant stickhand and cant shoot. We need a tough guy that can at least skate. Brad MacMillen? Maybe Goulet from the old league?
I dont know, but we need something, because 5-9, 170lbs just aint cutting the mustard.

Schrock disrupts the other team with his hustle? What games have you been watching? Are you talking about this year or 2/3 years ago? Schrock has been next to useless this year. He simply doesn't have the skill level to contribute points and he is not doing the small things to help his team win such as the hitting, agitating, etc.

I don't think the farm team can trade an affiliated player...

Not bad Mark! Well said, however Henley can skate fast. Just put him in front of a sellout crowd and put Lizon next to him...his legs don't hurt when he's flying away from him!!!!

Are you saying Shrock doesn't back check, doesn't hustle, doesn't play the role of enforcer when nobody else does and logs as much penalty kill time as anybody. I don't miss a game and there is nothing about what you say about Shrocks lack of hustle that has any merit. Is it because you think he should have 15 goals and anybody that doesn't have that many goals isn't ECHL caliber player. You might take a look at some of the other rosters and see how many teams have players with less that 10 goals and have no other role on there teams other than skate a regular shift. They are not fighters, they are not on the penalty kill.

We have had at least 3 Norfork players sent to us at various times this season that have contributed almost nothing to this team from a statistical standpoint so why don't you jump on their asses? Looks like the ECHL has a lot of players on a lot of teams who should not be in the league according to you. At least thats how you are coming off to me. My apologies if i'm wrong .

Who are these Norfolk players you refer to? Kennedy, who was here for all of 10 games? Klotz, who's played half as many games as the Mealticket, who's game isn't that of a goal scorer? Maybe Hegarty, who's a defensive defenseman and not the reincarnation of Kelly Perrault?

I'm confused here...

A birdy told me who the cancer is in the locker-room.

The birdy is well connected.

Some would not be shocked by who it is.....all the signs have been there.

Schrock's job isn't to score goals. Any points from him are considered in the same catagory as points from Klotz. Schrock is a 3rd line grinder. Someone who is there to skate hard, check, fight, agitate, mouth off, and annoy every player on the other team.

Outside of a random game here and there, the effort has not been there this year and he's not come close to filling his role on this team.

Never thought I would be saying that about Schrock but there it is and I'm far from alone in those observations.

Mark, Boucher is hanging around because he is still not cleared and therefore is still on work comp. Injured players still need to come to the games etc. And I doubt he'd be doing any better or worse than our current goalies if he was healthy...how soon you forget.
