FORT WAYNE – The southbound lanes of Interstate 69 were moving slowly as of 4 p.m. Friday just north of the Jefferson Boulevard exit, the Indiana Department of Transportation said.
Crews are cleaning up after a crash that involved a semi. "Motorists should be aware that slowed or stopped traffic may still exist for a short period of time, but should soon alleviate itself, the Indiana State Police said in a written statement issued at 4:10 p.m. Friday.
INDOT had recommended southbound traffic use Interstate 469 from the north side of Fort Wayne and reconnect with I-69 at mile-marker 296 on the south side of the city.
