IPFW falls to NDSU

IPFW suffered its third consecutive loss Saturday, losing to North Dakota State 58-54 at the Gates Center.

The Mastodons (10-16, 3-9) had a chance to tie the game at the end, but sophomore Joe Edwards dribbled the ball out of bounds with 3.1 seconds remaining, and North Dakota State's Mike Felt hit the game-clinching free throw to give the Bison (19-6, 10-3) the four-point margin.

Frank Gaines led IPFW with 16 points, and Luis Jacobo had 14.
