Ivy Tech sets Public Safety Academy open house

WHAT

Open house for Public Safety Academy: Ivy Tech South Campus

BACKGROUND:

As Ivy Tech Community College celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2013, the college invites the community to an open house to discover Public Safety Academy: Ivy Tech South Campus and what opportunities are available to them there. In addition to maintaining the City of Fort Wayne’s original mission behind training and education in public safety and other areas, the campus offers students in southern Allen, Huntington, Adams and Wells counties classes closer to home. Prior to the open house, a community roundtable discussion will take place with Chancellor Jerrilee K. Mosier, Ed.D., and invited community partners. Francine’s Friends Mobile Mammography coach and the Red Cross Bloodmobile will also be onsite during the event.
