Indiana Conservation Officer Patrick Heidenreich is investigating a snowmobile accident that occurred in DeKalb County on 02/03/2013 at approximately 3:20 PM.
Bruce A. Martin, 45, of Avilla, was operating a 1991 Polaris Indy Trail 500 on private property in the 0500 block of CR 39. Martin hit an area of uneven terrain and was thrown from the machine.
Martin was transported privately to DeKalb Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for rib injuries.
