Woman, 87, dies of crash injuries

An 87-year-old woman from Roanoke has died as a result of injuries she sustained in a traffic crash Jan. 9, according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

Phyllis M. Kreigh was in a crash at Clinton and Main streets, according to the coroner’s office, which said she died Tuesday of respiratory failure as a result of the crash.

Her death has been ruled the fourth traffic fatality for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2013.

The funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
