Kay Saunders of Washington, Ill., a frequent re-enactor with a performing dance group in Springfield, Ill., looks at different hairstyles that were popular during the Civil War. The presentation was part of the 2013 Midwest Civil War Civilian Conference at Hotel Fort Wayne at 305 E. Washington Center Road.
