ESPN's "GameDay" coming to Notre Dame

ESPN's popular college basketball preview show "College GameDay" is coming to South Bend.

Notre Dame will be the site for "GameDay" when the No. 24 Irish play host to No. 5 Louisville at 9 p.m. Feb. 9.

This is the second time during the school year a "GameDay" show will be broadcast from Notre Dame. The football version of the show was on site when Notre Dame defeated Stanford in overtime Oct. 13.

The February game will be the second time the basketball version of "GameDay" will visit Notre Dame. The last time was when the Irish played Connecticut on Jan. 24, 2009.

The Journal Gazette's Assistant Sports Editor Tony Krausz covers The University of Notre Dame. Krausz, a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and a native of St. Louis, has been assistant sports editor since October 2005. Prior to joining the JG, he worked at two papers in Mississippi covering high school and college athletics.
