  • Softball season ends
    Jessica Hall gave up only three hits to IPFW and the UCLA softball team defeated the Mastodons 8-0 on Saturday to end IPFW's season at the NCAA Regional in Louisville, Ky.
  • Mastodons to regionals
    IPFW senior Theresa McHugh and freshman Rachel Dincoff have earned spots at the NCAA East Region Preliminary Championships, which begins May 23 in Greensboro, N.C.
  • Softball players honored
    IPFW junior Ashleigh Bousquet and sophomore Larissa Franklin were named to the Summit League Softball Academic All-League team, as voted on by the schools’ faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

IPFW sweeps Lourdes

Bryan Saunders led IPFW with 11 kills and four blocks as the men’s volleyball team defeated Lourdes 3-0 Friday at the Gates Center.

Anthony Randolph added 10 kills, five blocks and four digs for the Mastodons (3-2), who won with scores of 25-22, 27-25, 25-20.

Omar Rivera had 30 assists and three aces for the Mastodons.

IPFW’s Eddie Rivera also had three aces to go with his eight kills.

Lourdes (1-2) was paced by Nick DiMarco’s 12 kills, Trevor Lund’s nine digs and Oliver Cizmazia’s 36 assists.
